OUR BACKGROUND

D&S Hoist and Crane is a family company that has been providing comprehensive lifting solutions to businesses in the Pittsburgh region since 1998. Founded by Del Celaschi and his son, Steve, D&S Hoist and Crane is a full-service manufacturer of bridge cranes that also repairs and rebuilds all types of overhead cranes and components. D&S Hoist and Crane has since grown to serve a wide range of clients and applications throughout the Mid-Atlantic.

Now in our third decade, D&S Hoist and Crane is proud to continue its tradition of serving the manufacturing, steel, aluminum, automotive, oil and gas, mining, and nuclear energy industries.

OUR SERVICES

In addition to overhead crane design and fabrication, D&S Hoist and Crane supplies blocks, trolleys, end trucks, wheel assemblies, gear boxes, hoists, and all other components of lifting systems. We specialize in below-the-hook lifting devices and excel at working with large-capacity, obscure, or uncommon equipment.

We also offer OSHA-required inspections as well as custom safety training as part of our suite of services. Our Crane Operator Training Program provides critical instruction for crane rigging safety and best practices. Our trainers combine hands-on and classroom learning to prepare your team for the challenges of daily operations while keeping them safe.
